Different types of Gypsum Wall Boards are now being made in Kuwait by Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing & Trading Company in its factory located at Mina-Abdullah Industrial Area, about 50 kilometers from Kuwait City.

The plant was the first plant in the Middle East built for the production of Gypsum Boards with technical specifications according to the international standards.

The Plant capacity is sufficient to cover the requirements of the Kuwait local market and part of the neighboring markets. More than 2.5 million square meters of gypsum boards with different thickness, can be produced manually

KT Gypsum Boards are made of a gypsum core and a cardboard lining. The gypsum core consists of of calcined gypsum mixed with water, starch, pulp and some other chemical additives to control the setting time. The cardboard lining protects the gypsum core from all sides except on the width where the boards are cut. It is also gives the boards more strength and flexibility.

GYPSUM BOARDS: (KT BOARDS)

	KT-Boards can be painted or covered with wall paper or any other decoration material
	KT- Boards are presently, widely used for partition works in all types of Commercial buildings. They can be de-mounted and reused, for changing the internal decoration.
	KT-Boards can be used for false ceiling In central air conditioned buildings, such as villas, multistoried residence buildings hospitals, schools and offices and low-income houses.
	KT-Boards can be laminated to polystyrene or aluminum foiled or vinyl coated
	KT-Boards can be also be used for encasement of steel columns in prefabricated steel buildings.
	KT-Boards are recommended for use over masonry walls along with adhesive plaster, providing fast work, fire resistant and decorative wall. As for reference, Al-Muthanna Complex in Kuwait city.
	KT-Boards are the new substituent of the traditional internal block walls in Kuwait and Middle East, due to their compared light weight, thus reducing the load on the foundations and saving time and costs.

KT-Boards should be stacked on a level surface in dry, Covered areas. The stacks can be stored on bearers made of gypsum boards supplied by us free of charges.

KT-Boards are strong enough to deal with, without the risk of damage during transportation, handling and installation.
